Are you ready for an opportunity to perform a role within a fast-paced team environment as a Cage & Coin Cashier? We are looking for an individual with honesty, integrity, professionalism, and excellent communication skills to join our team.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Building strong working relationships with team members and guests
- Handling cash transactions including but not limited to foreign currency exchange, traveler's cheques, short pays, over payments, cash counts, coins and bills
- Monitoring and reporting all discrepancies and suspicious cash activities
- Redeeming value chips and gaming tickets for cash
- Verifying and processing machine fills, machine jackpots and cancelled credits
- Issuing opening floats to Slot Attendants (or others); reconciling closing floats
- Transferring and storing floats, keys and record keeping documents
- Documenting and reconciling transactions; may reconcile bank deposits and prepare revenue reports
- Complying with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performing other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Experience:
- Legendary guest service skills with a "Make it Happen" attitude
- Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests
- High School Diploma; post-secondary education an asset
- Minimum 1 year of experience in high volume cash handling
- The ability to successfully maintain or obtain an AGCO Category 2 Gaming Assistant license
- Smart Serve Certificate
