Senior Business Systems Analyst – Job Description
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks
- May lead and direct the work of others
- May report directly to a project lead or manager
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, high paced and meet established deadlines for product deliveries; quickly change focus as may be needed and able to project possible issues based on current workflows, engagements and design dependencies
- Provide support to EPE on E2E review of current processes (evaluating business processes, understanding requirements, discover areas of improvement, etc.)
- Provide general Project Management support (providing status updates, timelines, etc.)
- Understand and translate business requirements
- Analyzing business pain points and provide automation insight for solution(s)
- Efficiently integrate and implement automation solutions & recommendations
- Ensure end-user proficiency with automation solution(s) (e.g., provide training / support for BAU activities)
Senior Business Systems Analyst – Mandatory Skills
- Experience in managing the assigned scope and workload parameters for successful product delivery
- Experienced in complying with metric requirements as assigned (KRI, KPI, KVI, etc.)
- Inclusively, experienced in understanding and providing a key focus on SLA compliance
- Extensive experience regarding the design, development and implementation of business tools available through supplied Microsoft products, including Office 365; (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint) PowerApps and the ability to automate between, across and collaboratively Inclusively have a unique understand of ETL processes needed to connect, extract or upload critical data to Mainframe platforms and Tableau for interactive reporting
- Experience in Tableau administration, development and design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. An eye for detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to allow for effective communication with management, executives, and colleagues across the organization
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Advanced knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx and/or Python
- Project and deliverables experience - 5 years
- Advanced knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx and/or Python
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Technical Analyst experience - 7 years
- BSA experience - 7 years
- Finance and risk experience
