Role Summary
The Hemming Engineer will work with our Program Management team, across multiple automotive assembly programs, executing hem studies and flange recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Execute hem studies.
- Hemming snap studies and flange recommendations.
- Compare and analyze old versus new level CAD data, highlight changes and issues.
- Develop and maintain Massiv standard tooling library and documentation.
- Small engineering studies from concept through to final manufacturing drawings.
- Support shop floor assembly, feedback and buy offs.
- Support customer hemming and project meetings.
- Release drawing packages and purchased component ordering.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree/Diploma/ Certificate of Qualification and/ or applicable design experience
- Minimum 3 years CAD, Catia V5 and Unigraphics NX experience
- Mechanical design and detailing experience.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Power Point and ACAD
- Automotive assembly and Body-in-White experience
- Hemming experience an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
