Who you are

Reporting to the Business Strategy Manager, we have a 12-month contract opportunity for a Project Manager. You will manage the successful delivery of a new organization-wide ERP upgrade and service module implementation, from planning the project to building relationships and partnerships. In addition, you will work with internal and external stakeholders and facilitate the transition to and adoption of the new systems, tools, and processes.

What you will do

  • Plan and direct a full-scale system upgrade. You will successfully implement an ERP system upgrade and integrated service module. You will ensure project completion on scope, on time, and on budget. You will:
    • Review and evaluate business needs and functionality requirements, gathering insights from leadership, teams, and third parties.
    • Define the project scope and objectives in partnership with executive leadership and the Business Strategy Manager.
    • Design a project plan from end to end, including milestones, resources, tasks, budget, change management controls, and metrics for success.
    • Generate and present progress, status, and change request reports to stakeholders.
    • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to contracts and relevant SOW and SLAs.
  • Manage the transition. You will support company staff in adopting the upgraded ERP system in their day-to-day operations. You will:
    • Work in close partnership with stakeholders and teams to manage dependencies between programs and projects that affect priority sequencing and resource allocation decisions.
    • Create communications, training, and documentation to ensure the successful adoption of new business processes and engagement with the new system and tools.

What you bring

  • The project management experience. You have 5+ years of experience managing technology system implementations and digital transformation projects. You have in-depth, direct experience applying recognized project and change management methodologies and overseeing complex, large-scale projects from end to end.
  • The consultative style. You have exceptional strategic planning, analytical, and organizational skills. You take a consultative approach to gathering requirements, understanding business needs, and fostering positive engagement across every level of the organization. You can successfully manage cross-functional teams, executive reporting, and multiple work streams with competing priorities. You are an efficient problem solver who can make sound decisions under pressure.
  • The technical skills. You are highly proficient with MS Office Suite and a project management tool. You have a working knowledge of ERP systems and can quickly learn new technologies.
  • The interpersonal skills. You have effective and flexible communication skills, and you can confidently make presentations to senior decision-makers. You have the ability to influence without authority. You can build trusting relationships with project teams, clients, and third-party providers.
