Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience developing custom applications on the Salesforce platform
- 3 years of systems architecture experience (i.e., designing, developing, and maintaining complex business solutions within the application)
- 5 years of experience translating business requirements into innovative technical/functional solutions
- In-depth knowledge of Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds and Lightning Experience
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations paired with Salesforce architecture, design, and configuration skills
- Hands-on experience with mid-to large-scale implementation supporting multiple lines of business
- Experience with Apex, Flows, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Platform Events, and API integrations
- Experience providing mentoring and technical leadership to software delivery teams in an agile environment
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certifications are a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under indirect supervision
- Broad understanding of information technology topics
- Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability
- Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills

Job Summary
As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will leverage your strong functional and technical Salesforce expertise to partner with the product and technology teams and business leaders to define the technical strategy that will shape the future of Edison Financial. You will pair your passion, creativity, and innovation with modern tools and techniques to design scalable solutions. These solutions will need to be crafted around business process automation, enterprise application integration, and performance optimization to provide a world-class experience to team members, partners, and clients and bring our mission to life.
Responsibilities
- Create architecture specifications based on a deep understanding of business requirements and work with delivery teams to implement solutions that meet business needs
- Partner with product teams and business leaders to define business requirements and ensure final solutions meet organizational goals
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust enterprise solutions designed to scale within a fast-growing business
- Guide the development of our enterprise data model supporting multiple lines of business, ensuring data integrity is maintained
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple delivery teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring best practices are followed
- Lead technology evaluations and proof-of-concept development, vetting buy/build/configure possibilities, and making recommendations with a strong emphasis on the reasoning behind those decisions
- Use hands-on expertise to identify opportunities to improve and optimize existing Salesforce solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of the latest Salesforce capabilities, tools, and techniques to establish and own our development standards and best practices
